Boris Rodriguez is an internationally acclaimed Producer, writer and director. He recently produced La recette du bonheur for Radio Canada, set for release this Spring. He is the 2022 recipient of the TIFF-CBC Films Screenwriter Award for his feature writing. His first film Beso Nocturno (Night Kiss) premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in the Discovery Section and was later selected for a 2006 retrospective at the MoMA. His feature debut: EDDIE - THE SLEEPWALKING CANNIBAL was selected for prominent festivals including Tribeca and Karlovy Vary and garnered several awards including the coveted Méliès d’Argent award for Best Feature. On the heels of EDDIE's success, Boris was selected to participate in NBCUniversal’s prestigious Emerging Directors Program. More recently, Boris was part of Warner Bros Discovery Directors Program and was selected into Film Independent’s Episodic Lab as co-creator of the chicano sci-fi adventure series East Los Aliens. Boris is currently developing several projects including the features Century of Redemption, Covet and Zoila and Andy.  

Boris divides his time between Los Angeles and Montreal and is fluent in English, Spanish and French.
